EmpowHER Unites Women’s Health Leaders and Community for Transformative Wellness Experience
JilaMD, a premier concierge women’s health and longevity clinic founded by Dr. Jila Senemar, hosted the sold-out EmpowHER event on April 5 at the Garden House & Lawn at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. The gathering attracted more than 200 attendees for an immersive day dedicated to wellness, aging and personal empowerment.
Designed to educate, uplift and connect, the event showcased dynamic expert-led discussions spanning perimenopause, menopause, sexual health, mental health, longevity medicine, and more.
Attendees engaged with recognized experts in women’s health who made up the day’s lineup of speakers. Among them were fitness pioneer and keynote speaker Tracy Anderson; Dr. Jessica Shepherd, OB-GYN and Chief Medical Officer for HERS; renowned medical professionals; wellness experts; and Dr. Judith Joseph, widely recognized for her appearances on The Mel Robbins Podcast and in the Halle Berry-led MasterClass on menopause.
“As women, we often prioritize everyone else’s health before our own. EmpowHER is about reclaiming that power,” said Dr. Jila Senemar. “We created this space to offer real education, personalized support and evidence-based solutions within a community where women feel truly seen, heard and valued.”
Emmy-winning journalist and nationally recognized menopause advocate, Tamsen Fadal, added to the momentum with a compelling video message that was shared across social platforms, highlighting the critical importance of prioritizing women’s mental health.
Community partners Let’s Talk Menopause, BRCAStrong, and FemCity supported the event by helping connect attendees to advocacy resources and wellness networks.
The full-day program included expert panels, interactive breakout sessions, networking opportunities, a wellness marketplace, as well as luxury goody bags valued at more than $250.
